This week’s featured reel features Michael Eisenstein, who recently wrote to say that, “Since uploading the reel you did for me I have been going on an average of at least two auditions a week. I have booked two films and a commercial shoot and have been getting lots of wonderful feedback.” Glad to hear it Michael!
MakeItReel made a splash at this year’s Fall Fashion Week, producing two videos for designer Edwing D’Angelo! The first video, a press release, ran in the week before the show and the second video ran during Edwing’s fashion show, while the models were on the runway and during the after party. What an honor for MakeItReel — thanks Edwing!
MakeItReel customer Miriam Morales recently wrote to say that, after sharing her new reel, “the people that have seen my reel so far, LOVE it!!!”
Congratulations, Miriam!
MakeItReel customer Joe Leon recently wrote to say that, after completing his reel earlier this summer, he has already “received a couple job offers … all results of the demo.”
Less than a week after MakeItReel finished work on Laura McDonald’s reel, her impression of Kristen Stewart exploded all over the internet and now has close to one million hits on YouTube. Congratulations, Laura! Check out the YouTube video!
The contest ran through July 8th and the winner will be selected from the top three vote getters on the contest site. Stay tuned to find out who wins the free reel!
Just before the July 4th holiday, MakeItReel held a free seminar and gave a special one-time discount to members of Paul Michael’s The Network. Some of the participants have already created reels and Screen Tests with MakeItReel!
Within the last year, MakeItReel customers have used their completed reels to submit themselves for projects and, in some cases, have even booked the roles without even having to audition!

Jason Yachanin bypassed auditions completely and booked the first role that he submitted his reel for.

Deb Collins shot her audition for the new Showtime series House of Lies and booked the part from the audition video.

Amanda Brooke Lerner booked multiple roles after submitting her reel … in three cases, bypassing auditions entirely.
